The aim of the current research is to evaluate the content of the punitive principles contained in the Code of Judicial Principles and Decisions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of modern educational standards. The research sample included the Code of Judicial Principles and Decisions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, edition of the year (1438 AH/2017), to which the content analysis card was applied. The number of criteria for the tool, related to modern educational standards, reached six criteria: (trial conditions, perpetrator, content, society, judge, and judge evaluation), while the number of indicators reached (43) indicators, and the results indicated that the average percentage of availability of educational standards in the content of the principles The punitive principles contained in the Code of Judicial Principles and Decisions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reached (79)%, which means that approximately four-fifths of the standards are included in the content of the punitive principles contained in the Code of Judicial Principles and Decisions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. (58.14%) of the indicators received a high percentage of availability. (20.93%) of the indicators received a moderate percentage of availability. (58.14%) of the indicators received a low percentage of availability. The results also indicated that the criteria: trial conditions, content, and judge’s evaluation, received a high degree of availability. It represents approximately 50% of the total standards. The criteria: the perpetrator, the judge, and society received an average degree of availability. It represents approximately 50% of the total standards. No standards received a low degree of availability.
