The Egyptian Experience in Recovering Assets Looted by Corruption "Reconciliation as One of The Mechanisms for Recovering Assets Looted by Corruption"
Main Article Content
Abstract
The issue of recovering funds looted by corruption has gained international importance since the Eighties of the last century, as these and subsequent years witnessed the emergence of many corruption cases of officials in different countries whose countries applied for freezing and recovering the funds they seized and smuggled out of the country.
The importance of this topic increased with the beginning of 2011, on the occasion of the Arab Spring revolutions in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya, and the subsequent efforts of the new governments to recover funds smuggled abroad.
