All submitted research papers are referred for review unless they are outside the scope of the journal's specialization or below the level it requires.

Unless otherwise stated, research papers shall be referred to two experts for informed decision on their acceptance for publication. Statistical reviews are also used when necessary.

The review system takes place without the reviewer and the author identifying each other.

Once the revisions reach the editor, a decision is made whether to accept the research paper or request a revised copy or reject it.

The greatest responsibility for editorial decisions lies with the editor-in-chief of the journal in question.

Reviewers must acknowledge any conflicting interests.
