Abstract

The importance of the present study is reflected in the approach to the problems arising from the coronavirus pandemic in terms of judicial procedures and due process. The imposition of the pandemic on social distancing, quarantine and the closure of the country due to health emergencies pose practical problems that have an impact on the issue of court attendance and the extent to which failure to attend can be considered among the legal excuses for trial. At the same level, another difficulty has arisen in relation to the market for detainees in Algeria's cases and what this may cause to the epidemic. On the other hand, the current health crisis has led to the "freezing" of cases pending before the courts owing to practical obstacles to the follow-up of proceedings, for example, the possibility of direct transmission of the notification procedure, the transfer of experts for an examination or examination, the suspension of legal and judicial time limits and the delays in deciding cases, as well as delays in implementation proceedings. Hence, it seems necessary to find ways and means to address the crisis at all levels. The pandemic may not end soon. It may be many years, and in the near future there may even be other such problems and pandemics. Therefore, radical solutions must be found to avoid such problems, especially for prolonging trials. human rights ", which could lead to the loss of individuals' rights and create instability in society.
