Abstract

In recent decades, terrorism in its various forms has swept the world, and no geographical continent has been spared from it, sometimes it strikes here and at other times it strikes there, and it has hit our Arab world with the violent acts and activities of terrorist networks that have wreaked corruption, destruction and murder on earth without any mercy, ruined the country, terrorized the people and undermined the economy. These groups always need funding to carry out their terrorist operations, as money is the backbone of terrorist groups that provides them with continuity and enables them to implement their plans, and they deliberately provide it from multiple sources: including donations, misuse of legitimate commercial activities and the use of commercial institutions as a façade, ... Some of them are the result of criminal activities such as drug trafficking, oil and weapons, kidnapping to pay ransom, human trafficking, antiquities smuggling and others.
