Abstract

The study sought to highlight the central role of human rights as a contemporary concept that helps in reducing conflicts and helps in preserving and building sustainable peace. One of the requirements of this understanding was to reveal the underlying intersectional relationship between human rights, conflict resolution and peace building, by tearing down the curtain drawn between them. By showing the basis of the relationship that binds them from a legal and psychological perspective, it then proceeded to analyse this relationship and show the aspects of tension and synergy between them and examine the argument that: violating human rights generates conflicts and undermines peace. Because of the validity of this last argument, the study took it upon itself - in an attempt - to build an approach Based on human rights in resolving conflicts and building peace, this approach required the inevitability of developing the human rights system in both the conceptual and structural contexts, which is what the study entailed. It then projected this approach onto the experiences of some countries to measure the sincerity of the effectiveness of this approach and responded to some striking similarities. In it, she refuted and refuted it.
